All workshops are free
Tuesday 21st of February 7.30 – 9.30pm Introduction to Seed Saving at Community Meeting Room (Old Station House) Learn how to get your best produce year after year. Protect old varieties and grow varieties that are most suited to your garden.
Sunday 26 FEBRUARY 11 – 3pm Planning and Designing Your Garden Space @ St. Serf’s Hall – learn about the gardening calendar & principles of organic gardening, inclusion of companion planting, edible flowers and encouraging wildlife. Attendees are invited to bring – or can prepare on the day – informal plans of their garden.
NEW! Tuesday 28th of February 7-9pm @ Potter About Herbal Stories An evening to revel in herbs and their magic! Can you remember old family remedies, do you have a story about a meeting with a herb? Come along and share, listen and deepen your intimacy with the world of plants and the amazing ways ways they have been used in the past and today.
Sunday 4th of March 11 – 1pm Food for Free at Broomhill Gardens How do you find the tasty free food growing in and around your town? We will walk from Broomhill Gardens around Burntisland exploring and discovering what wild food is on offer in the early spring.

Kid’s Club is starting – This Thursday 3.15 to 5pm
The Kid’s Club is an opportunity for parents and children to come together and join in with games, growing and art/craft activities in the garden.
Free, no need to book, just come along and join in. Suitable for all ages.
How to find us!
Broomhill Gardens has a pedestrian entrance on Manse Lane (KY3 0BJ) and a vehicle entrance with a car park on Lonsdale Crescent (KY3 0BN).
St. Serf’s Hall is right next to the garden entrance on Manse Lane.
The Fife Diet Meeting Room is right next to Burntisland Train Station on Forth Place KY3 9D. From the ticket office walk down the steps and turn left. The Meeting Room is first door on your left.
Broomhill Gardens/ St. Serf’s on foot: From the High Street head towards the Links then at the roundabout turn left up Cromwell Rd, Manse Lane is the second road on the left. The garden is up Manse lane on your right.
Broomhill Gardens/ St. Serf’s by car from Aberdour (A921): After coming into Burntisland you will arrive at a junction with traffic lights and the Jubilee Tavern on your left. Turn right here down Kirkton Rd. Take the first left Broomhill Avenue. First right Londsdale Crescent. On your left is a road with garages, turn in here and park at the far end, the garden is in front of you, if the double gates are closed walk round the side to the smaller gate.
Broomhill Gardens/ St. Serf’s by car from Kinghorn/ Kirkcaldy (A921): Drive into Burntisland with the links on your left at the roundabout take the right hand exit up Cromwell Rd. Take the third left Broomhill Avenue then the first left Lonsdale Crescent. On your left is a road with garages, turn in here and park at the far end, the garden is in front of you, if the double gates are closed walk round the side to the smaller gate.
