Our summer events programme will be landing on our members’ doorsteps throughout this week – but here are a couple of dates for your diaries …
First up we are at Anstruther’s Scottish Fisheries Museum Open Day on Saturday 8 June from 10 – 5.30 pm where we’ll be offering up practical tips (and tasting) on cooking with sustainable seafood.
Our resident Seed Truck story-teller Mrs Mash will be entertaining kids of all ages with some tales from the sea.
Entry to the museum is free for one day only, so join us in the courtyard for some tasty treats and learn more about Fife’s fishing heritage of today (and tomorrow).
Then on up the coast for Sunday 16th June from 11-5 we’ll be at Crail Harbour as part of the magnificent Crail Food Festival. We’ll be down on the front with our smoothie bike where we’ll also be teaming up again with Mark Williams of Galloway Wild Foods.
Mark will be again leading wild foraging and we are working with chefs to cook up what you find when we get back to the harbour.
