Tollcross Community Center, Edinburgh
This Friday we’ll be crossing the water to Edinburgh for an evening of discussion on food sustainability, looking at local responses to the global problems surrounding our food. Organised by local resident Zak Gratton, the Fife Diet will be joined by the New Leaf Co-op, who set up their own workers co-operative last year, supplying the good people of Edinburgh with sustainable shopping choices. Leith Community Crops in Pots will also be there to tell us about growing in the urban environment, and helping us get our hands dirty too.
This is your chance to not only find out more about the Fife Diet, but meet the people sowing the seeds of a new food system in Edinburgh – and get involved yourself! The event is free, but numbers are limited – email Zak on firstname.lastname@example.org to book your place.
