Here’s Iain Findlay’s Whirligro … a unique new design idea for vertical growing:
This is exactly the kind of low-tech innovation that we need to help people grow food everywhere. The advantages seem to be 1) quick weed-free growing with little maintenance required 2) low water requirements (we’re assuming you water at the top and it trickles down?). But most of all the advantage is growing lots of food in a confined space, perfect for urban growing on balconies and in small gardens.
