We are launching a Fife Diet South ‘branch’ this summer*. We’re inviting anyone who might be interested in taking part to come for an informal ‘Bread & Beer’ meeting this Thursday 2nd June at 6.00 pm – 8.30 pm at Betty Nicol’s pub (297 High Street), Kirkcaldy.

We’re asking people to form a small voluntary group to manage a budget to host at least four Fife Diet public events over the coming year. These might be film nights, talks, community lunches, huge pot-luck suppers, having a Fife Diet presence at existing community events, picnics, barbeques, cook-offs, recipe swaps … the possiblities are endless.

We’re looking for your ideas and creativity…let us know if you can make it (contact Richard Miller here or call us on 01592 871 371).  There will be bread sampling from the Steamie Bakehouse on the night – and talk of starting a Kirkcaldy Bread Club!

If your not sure what’s in the ‘South’ branch – all the towns covered by Fife Diet South are in the image above.

* we’re also launching East, West & North too! In fact, East is well under way and will be announcing their plans soon.

Thanks to everyone for coming along last night for a great night – and a warm welcome to our new members.
