Big congratulations to the Green List Award winners, particularly the Glasgow Guerrilla Gardeners , who’s idea is as much about reclaiming the concept of public space as it is about biodiversity. Also great to see Vegware getting recognition for their compostable plates and cutlery, and Fife Diet is obviously delighted to see Tom and Marjorie Nelson from the Mull Slaughter House doing so well, as re-creating the sort of local food economy infrastructure we need is essential in re-localisation.

Another worthy winner also was Mike Park from the Scottish White Fish Producers Association who has done so much to try and develop a sustainable fisheries policy.
